These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Drop2Hittin3 iOS app, the web app at app.drop2hittin3.com, and this marketing site at drop2hittin3.com (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Drop2Hittin3 LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account or using Drop2Hittin3, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Drop2Hittin3. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. The App Store age rating for the iOS app is 17+ because of user-generated content.
We ask for your date of birth when you create your account so we can confirm you meet this minimum and restrict features that are limited to adults. Find a Game — the feature that matches you with other golfers to play a round in person — is available only to users aged 18 or over, and we enforce that using the date of birth on your account.
Age is self-reported and we cannot verify it. We rely on the date of birth you give us. We do not carry out identity checks or age verification, and we have no way to confirm that any user — you or anyone you encounter — is the age they claim. Giving a false date of birth, or helping someone else do so, is a breach of these Terms and may result in your account being suspended or removed without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drop2Hittin3 LLC accepts no liability for any loss, harm, injury, or damage arising from a user misstating their age, from an underage person gaining access to an age-restricted feature by doing so, or from your reliance on another user’s stated age. If you believe a user has misrepresented their age, report them in the app or email support@drop2hittin3.com.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child in your care has created an account or accessed an age-restricted feature by giving a false date of birth, contact us and we will close the account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Pick a username that doesn’t impersonate someone else, infringe a trademark, or violate our content rules.
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, golf scores, comments, and other content you post (“User Content”). By posting, you grant Drop2Hittin3 LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, host, store, reproduce, and distribute your content to operate and improve the platform. You may delete your content at any time.
You promise that:
You agree not to post or engage in harassment, hate speech, nudity, illegal activity, spam, unauthorized advertising, or posting others’ private information without consent. Specifically, do not post or send content that is:
Reports of objectionable content are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and repeat violations result in account termination.
You agree not to falsify or manipulate golf score data. Posted scores may be visible to other users, and you are responsible for any claims you make. Scorecard math, course information from third-party providers, and the optional UHC handicap calculation are best-effort.
The UHC, UCHC and ACS are not official handicaps. The Unofficial Handicap (UHC), Unofficial Course Handicap (UCHC) and Average Course Score (ACS) are Drop2Hittin3’s own estimates of a golfer’s play, calculated by us from the scores you post. Drop2Hittin3 is not affiliated with, licensed by, endorsed by, or connected to the United States Golf Association (USGA), The R&A, the World Handicap System, or GHIN, and none of these figures is an official Handicap Index or Course Handicap. They must not be used for sanctioned competition, for establishing or reporting an official handicap, or anywhere an official handicap is required — for that you need a handicap issued through an authorised golf association.
Drop2Hittin3 offers optional in-round games and scoring formats — such as Match Play, Skins, Nassau, Stableford, Wolf, Bingo-Bango-Bongo, Snake, and Vegas — that keep score for friendly competition and bragging rights. These features are provided for entertainment and score-tracking only. Drop2Hittin3 does not host, operate, facilitate, process, collect, hold, escrow, or pay out any money, wagers, bets, entry fees, stakes, or prizes, and does not enable any payment or transfer of funds between users. The app simply tallies points and results.
Any wager, bet, or money arrangement players may make among themselves is solely between those players. Drop2Hittin3 LLC is not a party to it, takes no cut, and is not responsible for it. You are responsible for ensuring any such arrangement complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
This applies equally to anything discussed, agreed, proposed, or recorded in direct messages, group chats, game chats, tournament chats, comments, or captions. Those are private or semi-private conversations between users; we do not monitor them for wagering, we are not a party to any arrangement reached in them, and we accept no responsibility for any stake, debt, dispute, or non-payment arising from one. We do not verify, guarantee, adjudicate, enforce, or settle any bet, and we will not mediate disputes between users about money. If a wager leads to a dispute, it is between the people who made it.
Find a Game is for users aged 18 and over. It lets golfers post an open tee time and lets other golfers ask to join, so that people who have not met before can arrange to play a round together in person.
Access is gated on the date of birth on your account, which is self-reported. We do not verify it, and an age gate is not a guarantee: you should assume nothing about the age of anyone you meet through the app, and we accept no responsibility for a user who reaches Find a Game by misstating their age.
Drop2Hittin3 is an introduction tool and nothing more. We do not verify the identity, age, background, criminal history, character, honesty, skill, or handicap of any user. We do not screen, vet, interview, or perform background checks on anyone, and a golfer appearing in Find a Game is not a recommendation, endorsement, or assurance of any kind from us. Any information a user gives about themselves — including their name, photo, handicap, and the course and time they propose — is supplied by that user, and we do not check it.
Anything that happens away from the app is your responsibility. Once you agree to meet another user, you are meeting a stranger in the physical world, and Drop2Hittin3 LLC has no involvement in and accepts no responsibility for what follows. This includes, without limitation: your travel to and from a course; green fees, cart fees, and any other cost; the conduct of anyone you meet; injury, illness, death, harassment, theft, property damage, or loss; disputes between players; anything arranged, agreed, or exchanged in person; and any wager or money arrangement, which is covered by the section above. You take part entirely at your own risk.
Use your judgement. We strongly recommend that you meet only at a public golf course during opening hours, tell someone you trust where you are going and who with, arrange your own transport, and never share financial details, home address, or identity documents with another user. Stop and leave if you feel uncomfortable. If someone behaves in a way that concerns you, report them in the app and, where appropriate, contact your local law-enforcement authority — we are not an emergency service and cannot intervene in a situation as it happens.
We may remove a listing, restrict access to Find a Game, or suspend an account at our discretion, but we are under no obligation to monitor listings or arrangements and do not undertake to do so.
All Drop2Hittin3 trademarks, logos, designs, and software are owned by Drop2Hittin3 LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without permission.
By creating an account or using Drop2Hittin3, you agree that you will not:
Drop2Hittin3 LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section and pursue legal remedies for unauthorized competitive use.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time and are not liable for any resulting loss. We’ll try to give you notice for big changes.
Drop2Hittin3 may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party providers.
The iOS app is also licensed to you under Apple’s standard EULA for App Store apps. If anything in these Terms conflicts with Apple’s EULA, Apple’s EULA controls for the iOS app. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app — that’s us.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, harming the platform, or engaging in fraudulent or illegal activity. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. When you do, we run a 30-day grace period:
Some content is impossible to fully remove because it has been copied or shared by others outside the Service (e.g., screenshots). Reports you filed and moderation logs may be retained up to 12 months for safety reasons even after your account is gone.
Drop2Hittin3 offers an optional paid subscription, Drop2Hittin3 Pro, which unlocks premium features (advanced stats, full course history, the UHC handicap, badges & achievements, groups & leagues, and unlimited live watchers). Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription on a monthly or annual plan.
The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s standard EULA; where these Terms conflict with Apple’s subscription rules for App Store purchases, Apple’s rules control for the iOS app.
Drop2Hittin3 is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous service, accuracy of user content, or availability of features.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Drop2Hittin3 LLC is not liable for loss of data, damages from user content, unauthorized access, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DROP2HITTIN3 LLC AND ITS OWNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (a) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD $100.
You’ll defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, cost, or damage that arises out of (a) your content, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of someone else’s rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
We may update these Terms and will notify users of significant changes. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, if appropriate, surface a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
